Template Tools - Refreshing Rows from the Template (Desktop)

What it is: A Template Tools function that restores overwritten or deleted formulas on selected rows of the Annual Financial Statements by pulling the original formula back from the master template.

What it's for

If a user accidentally overwrites a formula cell — replacing it with a static value or deleting it — the AFS can become inconsistent or show incorrect totals. Rather than trying to reconstruct the formula manually, this function replaces the damaged cell with the correct formula directly from the template, restoring accuracy without needing to recreate the whole sheet.

How to do it

Important: You must be logged in with the Manager Password to use this function. The Partner can request the Manager Password from support@draftworx.com.

  1. Select the cell(s) on the Annual Financial Statements where the formula has been overwritten or deleted.
  2. Navigate to Template Tools.
  3. Select Refresh Rows from Template.
  4. Select Yes to confirm.
  5. The selected cell(s) are restored to the correct formula from the template.
